Ok, need opinions here.

A Warhammer 40k site I frequent is having a 20% off sale. Considering how expensive these things can be, especially in bulk, thats a very good thing. And, since it's based in Canada, the conversion rate works in my favor, being in the US. However, I won;t have anyone to actually use them against for quite awhile. So should I get them now when they're cheap, and have them ready and all for when I can play? Or wait till their regular priced, but be able to be used right away?

And now the snideness. Feel free to skip is you want.

Now...I've never had a high opinion of critics. Movie, tv, book, any of them. Why you may ask? Well, several reasons.

One, why would I let someone tell me what i think is good? I think I'm a fairly good judge on if I find a book or movie boring.

Two, not everything is going to be The Godfather, or som massive earth moving epic. Some things are going to be silly and campy because, you know what? Thats what they're about.

Three, if something has source material, and you aren't familiar with it, you shouldn't be allowed to critique it at all.

And finally, why should anyone be payed to try and make other people agree with their opinion? For example, I hate the entire Twilight series. The writing is dull and lackluster, the characters are incredibly poorly thought out, have only 1 personality setting, and lack any semblance of realism. There are certain things a being has to do to be a vampire. Noone in that book fits that criteria. It is a bad series. There, I have done what a critic does. Where is my check?
